Can I attend for only part of the weekend?
Yes it is possible for you to come for a day or one night. There probably wouldn't be much of a reduction in price, because I have gone as low as I can already. However I am open to discussing if $$ are tight for you.
Can I go on a payment plan?
Yes, with at least 80% of your payment paid up front by the start of the event.
Can I bring my children?
I would love very much for the mama’s to be able to come along with their children as we cultivate tribe and community culture.
Due to the nature of the weekend and its theme of Sensual Body Wisdom, there are a few things to consider before deciding whether to bring children or not.
Their age, gender and level of supervision:
There won’t be childcare as such made available, therefore you are responsible for meeting the needs of your cherubs. It is my hope that as a tribe of mamas there is a way we can support one another with our children. Bring friends with children and share the love load.
* Babes in arms of both genders are welcome.
* Boys up to the age of about 4 or 5 year are possible to be in attendance depending on how easy going they are. It wouldn’t be kind for our boys to be hushed up and their energy stifled because we are diving into the feminine depths.
* Girls are welcome at any age while again being considerate of how much attention they need from mama, as well as how ready they are for adult concepts around sensuality, sexuality and Earth medicine if they were to participate.
One of our dance facilitators, Debra Lansdowne is available to hold a dance experience for 5 - 8yo called Inamojo
Speak to Shantell in advance if you like to bring your child/ren
Do children have to pay?
Free for Children under 15
$65 for Children over 15+
Can I bring pets?
No. As a request from the custodians of the land that we are staying on, we have been asked for safety of the wildlife not to allow dogs, cats and other pets to be present during our stay.
What food do I bring?
Organic Vegetarian ingredients are encouraged. What inspires and delights you?
E.g. salad vegetables, fresh herbs, fruits, dried spices, sauces, chai tea ingredients (except black tea, we have lots of that), pulses and legumes, nuts and seeds. Yummy.
What kind of accommodation is there?
We will all be camping, so you will need to bring a tent, mattress and bedding for yourself.
If you don’t have access to a tent, etc., we can put up a post on the Facebook event page to see who can help out.
How do I get there if I don’t have a car?
We encourage car-pooling and there will be a post placed on the Facebook event page for you request or offer a lift to the retreat.
