Bad Boobies get a make over

“I am modest and shy, I don’t want my breasts or my nipples to be seen,” she said
“Why?” asked the whisper

“Well, isn’t that just asking for trouble and unwanted attention?” she said
“No” replied the whisper

“Oh. Well, doesn’t it mean I am vain and lustful if I show off my breasts and let my nipple stick out?” she asked
“No” replied the whisper

“Hmm, but what if my breasts are too big or too small, too saggy, too pointy, hairy, freckled or wrinkly to let them be seen?” she wailed.
“They are none of these,” replied the whisper

“Ok, what if my breasts are better than anyone else’s?” she declared
“They are not,” replied the whisper

“Oh, but you see, one breast is smaller than the other,” she confessed
“That doesn’t matter, you are not alone” replied the whisper

“What if I get breast cancer and I have to have them cut or removed?!” she agonised
“The psychic essence of your breasts is still there, feel it. You still have a heart that penetrates the world. It may be a long hard road back to loving yourself, but you are not alone,” replied the whisper

“I can’t love my breasts and nipples, they’re just not right and I wish they were different” she stated
“Yes, you can love them,” replied the whisper

“How?” she asked
“Place your hands on your breasts and breath deeply into your heart. Feel and sense your heart’s warmth and light expanding as you breathe. You may feel a weight or another sensation there in the heart, notice that and allow it.
Gradually, with every breath, feel this expansion of warmth, light and sensation pass through your ribs to the inside of your breasts.
As you feel your breasts from the inside, breathe deeply and say, “I am willing to be willing to love my breasts. The more I allow myself to feel my breasts from the inside, the more I also allow myself to be willing to love my breasts.”” advised the whisper

“As my Love grows, the rest of me will remember who I am, love. Breasts do not determine who I am as woman, yet my breasts are the beacons through which my heart’s love penetrates the world and everything I do. My breasts radiate love to nurture and feed that which I put my attention to – children, partner, family, my craft and projects, the Earth and myself,” she said
“That’s the way,” the whisper said

Your breasts are powerful and magical, remember that.

6 Curious Affirmations for Sacred Blood

21/6/2015

Picture
Curiosity killed the Cat and Satisfaction brought the Cat back.
We can be curious of the past and curious about the future, but to be curious of the NOW is where the power of consciousness and love resides.

A girl’s first blood and a woman’s experience of “the change” are 2 aspects of Women’s Transformational Rites of Passage. So too is every single blood cycle in a woman’s life.

As women, each month (or thereabouts) the experience of our blood cycle changes with age, after birth, miscarriage and termination. Our experience also varies according to what we have experienced in the weeks leading up to blood.

A lot of women see their blood as a dreaded curse, unclean and inconvenient, so they deny, hide or stop their blood.
Some women crave sex and remain sexually active while bleeding.
Some women practice sexual self-containment at this time, not from a place of guilt or shame, rather from psychic, Tantric / Taoist perspective.
Very few women know how to practice high magic of healing and manifestation with their blood.

Awareness is growing that during our sacred blood, women release psychic toxicity and emotional charge that has accumulated in their receptive wombs.

Picture
Our blood is our internal cleansing system and we can clear past wounding and trauma in our own bodies and that of our ancestral line.
I have heard of some women that haven’t bleed for years and as they being to work on clearing their ancestral line, their blood starts up again to assist with this.
Our bodies are such incredible things and we all hold the medicine inside us.

While we are cleansing and releasing during our blood, we are also more “sensitive and absorbent” to our environment.
It is a magical time to connect with Divine Sources and heighten our psychic abilities.

Picture
Our blood has incredible ‘attachment energy’, so we get to choose whether to attach to drama, ours or others, or we can attach to supportive, nurturing things like quiet time, being in nature, listening or watching inspirational and heart centred visual and written media.

Ok, so what about when we are in it? Deep in our blood cycle and we are more ‘sensitive’, our emotions are running high or low, our insecurity and doubt runs rampant, we crave for lover’s touch, care and attention and we still ‘have to’ participate in family, work responsibilities and demands.
We can’t stop life just so we can blood flow, right?

Picture
When I am on my sacred blood I am called to be in the NOW.
My current blood cycle is what I call ‘a strong one’.
I feel like a dying cat, wondering if I will come back.
By this I mean I have been in a deep struggle of allowing myself to rest, let go, surrender and trust, verses get on with it, see clients, still write, promote, clean the house, get the job done, just do it.
A few days ago I fell into the emotional pit, crying for no obvious reason. Well, I do know why really. I still expect myself to be “functional” and I overwhelm myself with things that at other times are easy. I forget to trust my blood flow, to bask in the mystery of the unseen and unknown.

Picture
My whisper says, “Just allow my sobs, let thoughts and old memories surface and pass. Be patient, kind with myself as everything unfolds in perfect timing, there is no need to rush or force things.”

I know all these things, yet I still seem to struggle to be with what replenishes me.
I dance with the dark and light of Sacred Blood, as they are both valuable aspects of life. Even while my little mind wants this or that to happen, I acknowledge something greater is happening that I cannot see yet.
I do love the ideal that I am a beautiful and powerful woman able to rest in the void so I may rebirth with grace, majesty and power. Living this is not so easy, or so it seems.

Still, I stand true in my curiosity to discover the secrets of Sacred Blood and how to harness it's power.

These are my 6 curious affirmations and I offer them to you.
1.     I am curious to explore and immerse myself in honouring my sacred, magical blood cycle.

2.     I gift myself the time and space to be alone, or with supportive sisters to let myself fall apart and I gradually implement the changes in my life that I need for this to be so.

3.     My sacred blood is my monthly transformational rite of passage. It is the liminal, crazy, and hallucinatory void, as well as a profoundly magical, dreaming potential for divine manifestation.

4.     I let go of my attachment to needing myself to perform tasks & perceived demands during my sacred blood. Instead I choose to attach to Divine Sources via being in nature, singing, drumming, dancing and self-devotional, cleansing practices.

5.     My Sacred Blood knows what to flush and squeeze out for me to birth anew as a replenished, revitalised woman full to overflowing with Love for all that I am and all that I do.

6.     I live life to fullest potential in the spaces between my sacred blood, so I can rest in & enjoy the fullest potential of the void.

WHY TEACH DANCE?

18/6/2015

Picture
The other day a woman asked me if I teach dance?
I stood there blankly, paused in some slipstream of consciousness.

You see, I had just been speaking with her about a particular dance journey I co-facilitated with a mutual friend. And yes, I have facilitated many dance journeys, yet for some reason this question had me in an alternate time and space.

As a child, up to my mid 30’s, dance had been a chance to check out from a harsh environment and the woes of other people. When I danced I felt free, alive, sensual and in some way powerful. There was a part of me that could go within and disappear. I could  express my emotions through my movements no=one would know. There was also another part of me that could turn on the exhibitionist, the performer.
Yet when I reflect, I was somehow disassociated from myself as well, or perhaps I was unable to truly recognise what was moving through me.

Then I came across this incredible body of work called “Dancing The Divine”. I didn’t need to read much about it, just a few key words stood out to me and spoke to my heart …. Ancient priestess temple dancer

…. The next thing I knew I was on this profound women’s journey and I became consciously connected to my body for the first time, as the flow of “Divinity” (Spirit) danced me.
The performer ego died. Something incredibly wondrous, mysterious and ancient awakened within and emerged from my tiny, thin and curvaceous body; I had come home to myself.

So no, I don’t teach dance.

I DO however offer opportunities for women to come home to themselves to access the Divine Ancient Shamanic Medicine Women, the Dakini (sky dancer) Temple Priestess within. This so that more women can embody and gift the world with healing, transformation, restoring harmony in relating with other women, men, with everyone and everything.

I invite you, dear woman, come and journey with my offering, the Sacred Erotique Dances of the Dakini and restore your ancient feminine wisdom of life and loving power.

Breasts as Vibrations of Love

23/4/2015

Yoga of the Dakini Breast Care
Breasts are like radars. Highly sensitive, finely tuned vessels that are designed for more than turning men on and feeding babies. When we become attuned to their natural wonder, they assist us with navigating our way through life and love.

Caring for your Breasts is a direct way to break free from the programmed shackles of competitiveness, loneliness, victimhood, misery and fear. It’s not always easy to do this and it will appear challenging at times.
The navigation does get easier with practice.

Women are powerful as a collective; wise, fruitful and magical.

That is the reason I call us together, to encourage and nurture one another.

Dakini Breast Care tangibly awakens woman’s  ‘subtle sensitivity’ and brings woman back home to her delicious way of being ~ Love.

In remembering who she is, woman remembers what is valuable, where to focus her thoughts and energy, because she truly cares to, without obligation or perceived ‘rightness’, knowing it serves more than herself.

When woman feels the completeness of herself as love and bliss, she doesn’t seek it outside herself. Instead, she has more to offer and she knows where best her offering will be received.

From that place she becomes more attractive and magnetic. Bringing to her that which nourishes and feeds her and those people, places and things she cares about.

Furthermore, women feel / sense each other non-verbally. When you are in your living in bliss, in deep love with yourself, nature and existence, this ripples out giving permission for other women to do the same. As we come back home to ourselves, our true nature, we affect all around us, our children, our men.

It is simply divine to be a self-loving and caring woman and we can share this journey with each other. We flourish in tribe and community. We do this for ourselves, we do this for humanity.

Love your breasts, touch your heart, consciously create heart centered communities.

Are you ready for women to be wild and free, show up and raise their voices about what they really think and feel?

Picture
A woman cries out,

            Nobody hears.

She cries out again,

            Nobody hears.

The woman goes within her womb,

            To find her answers.

To herself has been faking it, holding back and disastrous,

It’s time to love enough to face her fears.

She is ready to risk being foolish, neurotic, naked and seared,

Risk being punished, cast out, losing everything she knew.

She summons up the courage and bellows out what is raw, mad and true,

            Everybody hears …

They want to shut her down,
They want her to be wrong.

She should do it this way, no like that,
She should not have such an alarming song.

“Stop her now!” they wail,
Crazy bitch, she is causing everyone harm.

She is set up as the scapegoat, the villain,
So they can suck more energy and protection as poor little victim.

They do not want to hear her,
She is out of control, put that muzzle back on!

Shut that dangerous witch up any way you can!
Shut her up now lest she defy the constraints of ‘civilised man’.

Silence that banshee, lest she releases every woman,
And spreads chaos and destruction that will liberate every ‘human’.

She wonders if it is betrayal she feels by her lover’s turned back,
As he dons a mask to cover up his fearful slack?

This is the man she trusted, he wanted to see her ALL,
It is he who called her beyond her edge of comfort and control.

It would be easy for her to say,
“See, this is why I don’t want to expose all of me in any way”.

But now she knows her heart’s true courage and capability,
With compassion she thanks him, unhooks and sets them free,

Because she knows now she is willing to die a thousand deaths,
To liberate within you and me, the God and Goddess.

As I finish writing this, I see where I have played all these parts - victim, villain, rescuer.
If you want to stop the victim paradigm, then remember that the perceived villain is an ‘Agent of Change’.
Be self-accountable and willing to unconditionally give up misery.
Love and accept every part of you.
Be compassionate to the suffering and defensiveness of others, especially to yourself.
Here’s to liberation from pain and fear, so we breathe and embody our true divinity.
LOVE
